This is the home of Vince 'Bear' Mascall and Ickle Films, a freelance Animator and Film Maker who can either come and work for you or co-produce pieces  through the 'Ickle Films' Production Company.

I Studied Animation (BA (hons)) at The University of Gloucestershire and then set up my own company to continue my work.

About me

Even from an early age I was drawn toward the arts, visual to begin with and then moved into performance.

While at school my stronger subjects were always more art or literary based and I always knew that was the area I wanted to move into. Upon Leaving school I found myself working freelance in performance arts, first as a performer and then as time moved on I was dfrawn into the creative production side, finding my niche was in design work as well as dramatic production and direction working on around 180 productions in a 15 year period.

I then chose to move on and become more visual based and that was when I decided to retrain and go to University to study Animation. The course gave me a strong foundation in all the prinicples of animation as well as film making. Again I found myself very much drawn to the production managemant side and Direction side. I chose to set up the 'Ickle Films' production Company so that I can work on both productions for myself as well as those commisioned by others, while maintaining my freelance status enabling me to work for outside production companies as myself or a co-production studio.
